Tonight, we were together again with joy and gratitude in our Before Sleep Program. First, we listened to the “Anthem of Responsibility” and meditated on what our responsibilities are. As Muslims; we have responsibilities such as praying, fasting, not upsetting our parents, offering hospitality to our neighbors, helping those in need, thanking Allah, telling the truth and not cheating. As a student; we had responsibilities such as listening to our teachers well, completing our homework, going to class on time, coming home on time, and using our notebooks, pencils, paints and erasers without wasting.

We learned that in order to become a member of an association, it is necessary to be eighteen years old. For this reason, children could not become official members of Gulberenk; but each of us can do charity by increasing our pocket money and transferring donations. We could help increase the number of members by explaining Gulberenk activities to our mothers, fathers, older sisters, and other elders we love. As of March 1, all groups of Gulberenk will be open to official members only. For this reason, everyone who wanted to benefit from the programs had to ensure that their mother or father became an official member of the Gulberenk Values ​​Education Association. It turns out that the reason for such a decision was:

The directors of the Gulberenk Values ​​Education Association have a responsibility to present their work to a certain audience in peace and security. Moreover, they should keep the association away from the wrong perceptions of the wrong people. For this reason, they wanted to know everyone in the groups well and register them officially.

Anyone who is self-confident, has not committed any crime and has good intentions can already become a member. And those who intend this should do. It was to fill in and sign the form on the site and send it to the responsible person along with a photocopy of the identity card, two photographs, and an entrance fee. Then they should wait for the news that their membership has been started. It’s that simple.

It turns out that Gulberenk found strength in preparing programs, making songs and videos with the 50 lira monthly subscription that its official members deposit. As you can see, everyone who becomes a member shares in the good of these works.

It was a very important responsibility for people to be sensitive and contribute to useful works. Being aware of the need for goodness, to love to be useful while taking advantage, and to give treats along with receiving by asking, “What can I do to lighten your load?”.

However, when many people did not have such a problem, those who wanted to do useful work often faced difficulties by staying in impossibilities. In fact, if people had made small contributions, good works could have been done much better and faster.

We learned that clean money, in any case, would be used for useful and good places. Haram and doubtful things, on the other hand, would be used to go to useless, bad and unnecessary things. In fact, we can understand how we earn by looking at where we spend it. We should always aspire to halal, try to seize good opportunities, and if it is not possible to use our money in good works, we should question the reasons for this.
