Educational Children Programs prepared by Gulberenk Values Education Association continues with all its enthusiasm in the Telegram / Gulberenk group. Our program title in April was “A Charismatic Pickax”. First, we could not give a meaning; but then, as we listened to the program, we grasped the matter.
The pickaxe was an iron tool with a long wooden handle, often used for digging and straightening the earth. Charisma means interesting, impressive, admirable and respectable.
The charismatic pickax comes for the strikingly dried and petrified soil with determination to give it consistency, being a robust and well-groomed tool that does its job well. The earth being avoided for a long while could not be opened and need relaxation. The farmer could not both hold the pickax and shake it randomly. You see, being charisma is not just about being well-groomed, but also about being determined, solid, useful, effective, and majestic. The idea that charisma can be won by wearing black sunglasses was too simple.
The idea that an expensive car adds charisma comes from looking materialistic. Attributing charisma only to a steep walk, a branded dress code or a lot of money was shallow and imprecise. According to this type of approach when the sunglasses were lost, the car was damaged in an accident, our posture broke down for some reason, or the money earned decreased, the charisma disappeared. However, charisma was not something that was so easily acquired and so easily lost. A genuine and long-lasting charisma was obtained with indomitable labor and a solid personality.
Thus we thought and decided: In our opinion, a mother who endeavors to raise her children with faith by facing the difficulties of the century is charismatic. A father who works for halal sustenance is a reason for peace, joy and trust for his family and so is charismatic. A Muslim who does not get caught up in the world and performs the five daily prayers patiently is charismatic. A person who devotes his existence to goodness and Allah is charismatic.
Not finished! Let us count: A hardworking and honest person who knows the history and possesses his values is charismatic. The heart that feels the delicacy in wisdom, the look that realizes the depth in the test, is charismatic. In the world, which is the field of the hereafter, the merchant, who knows that buying and selling are both acts of the hereafter, is charismatic. A person who does business by questioning not with “What will people say?” but “What will my Lord say?” is charismatic. The majestic person who is honest and free, who scares the enemy and spreads hope to the friends, is charismatic.
With this program, we realized that the charisma that comes with matter is like an inflated balloon and can burst and blow out with a needle stick. Charisma that comes with meaning is a strong and permanent feature that will continue to live for centuries. Finally, we prayed as follows: O Allah! What happens when you join us among your beloved servants with whom you gave a beautiful majesty and influence your gaze and words, and cause many of them to be blessed. Amen.
