Dear Precious Members,

Gulberenk was on the stage this month with the tag line, “A Good Scare is Worth More Than a Good Advice”. Advice means warning someone about something. While trouble means harm and risk. Some people correct their mistakes with merely one warning look, others may correct with a verbal warning. However, some people who are stubborn, know-it-all, or just stupid need to face a trouble to correct themselves. And Allah has created misfortune for those who do not accept an advice, and who do not understand when a warning is done in a polite way.

Thus, when we saw Karagoz’s case on the stage, we understood everything. Hacivat warned him; but he never took that into consideration. He tried to ski even though he did not know. Then he fell and broke his leg. The little chick did not care about his father’s advice, and intended to eat the lettuce of the neighboring garden. Moreover, the chick also ignored his mother’s advice and broke some eggs with which he toyed. The chicken, did not care about the advice of the cock and fell asleep without locking the door of its coop. A thief opened the coop and stole its food.

The snowman taught us an advice of the beloved Prophet Muhammad Mustafa sallallahu alayhi wa sallem which says, “Religion is advice”. As Allah gives many warnings and advice in the Qur’an. The end of people who do not mind the advice of Allah has always been very painful. For example, the people of Sodom, warned by the Prophet Lut, were destroyed under the lava of a volcano.

The program also had a kangaroo which was worth seeing. It tried to climb up the tree and of course fell from it and hurt its foot. Thereby, the kangaroo said: I did not listen to the elders, that is why I am in this conditions now”.

In this program, which corresponds to the month of Rebiulevvel, we commemorated our beloved Prophet and tried to remember Him as our guide. Let us just stop here and continue working. Because we need to prepare for the new program. We will be in Balikesir in February, let us inform everyone about the program!
Goodbye!
