Dear Visitors,

Our Lessons From the Lines to Our Hearts, prepared as part of Friday Meetings, organized by Gulberenk Values Education Association, continues with contemplation. On this auspicious night that connects Thursday to Friday, we started our lesson with a prayer: “Our Almight Allah! Make our togetherness to something good that rises to the heaven!” Ameeen!

Our enthusiasm and dream of establishing “Gulberenk Village” led us to another beautiful contemplation. “What did you dream about last?” we asked. Some dreamed of being stable, some dreamed of hajj and umrah. Some had dreamed of going to Jerusalem, some of them being a mother, and some of them being with us in the Gulberenk Village. There were also those who dreamed of chatting with the Prophet (pbuh) in paradise, death, and that children of righteousness were raised in the blankets she/he knitted and that they became hafez.

Imagination… Hayy… We thought about these two words. We said that to dream is a kind of prayer, hope and intention. Three precious energy sources… Even if we could not reach the end of a job we intended and started to do, even if it would be left unfinished, our duty was to do what is necessary. We had to act with intention and pray with hope. After all, the result would not be our responsiblity. We have to appreciate hard effort and do it. Thus, we contemplated the importance of dreaming/imagining in order to act. Because dreaming means prayer, hope and intention.

We realized that everything we imagined surrounds us, is in our orbit. The important thing here is, in this orbit, we should rotate by murmuring “Hayy!”. Hayy… Hayy… Hayy… the name among Allah’s many names. Actually! What did Hayy mean? Hayy means, “The one who is always alive, omniscient and omnipotent”. It is our duty to feel it, to pray… to hope… to in a way whirl by intending this name. Allah is able to create for us what we imagine. Allah wants us to pray, not to give up hope, and to intend. We felt all this so much that we felt it even in our cells. Thus, dreaming is a force that will lead one to his/her goal. Dreaming means to hope, to pray, to intend, to set a goal, to act, to become stronger.

However, we realized that even in our dreams there should not be an ugly items. Thereby, we thought that we should dream with goodness and good deeds. In our dreams, we bought an olive grove for our Gulberenk Village. We collected some olives, filled them in barrels… Then, we took them to our establishments serving the Qur’an. So that the students could eat… We got this intention just by dreaming. We are thankful for having a religion that states that this intention will appear before us in the hereafter live. We contemplated and thought how great that Allah even valued our intentions. We than remembered Allah saying “You pray, and I will be the one to respond”. Then we discussed and thought, it is not right to say “I dreamed, but it did not happen”. We thought that the grace of Allah is not limited to time, that Allah treats us greatly when we cannot even think. We had to dream for Hayy within the borders of morality.

Believing in the infinite might of our Allah, we prayed as follows: “If we can see it as the field of the hereafter life, we can use the boons of this world wisely. Oh Allah, let us act for the sake of your consent, and mobilize our dreams for the same cause!”. We wanted to meet Allah, to make this world a reason fto meet Allah, to sow well, to reap well, and to discover better by dreaming. Allah, the glorious, sometimes in the heaven, in the flower, in the fabric; sometimes we intend to watch Allah’s manifestation on the earth and in man.

While we tried to move the ideas from the lines to our heart together, we were accompanied by precious one thousand and eight hundred ladies from Turkey various other countries.
