Gulberenk Educational Children’s Programs, prepared by the Gulberenk Values Education Association, continue with great sincerity! In March, programs that took place on our Istanbul stages were based on the title “Hand in Hand”. It turned out that giving hand in hand was all about sharing sorrow, happiness an deven thoughts. Giving a hand means helping and supporting one. However, for some, giving a hand is profit-based, for some it is merely a responsibility, and for some it is to find favour in someone’s eyes. Nevertheless, Gulberenk children give a hand to the needy, and do it only for the sake of Allah. One does not need to be around to hold someone’s hand. If one wants, she/he can give a hand to someone at its farthest distance. One can do this by calling and asking how he/she is, by sending support, and by praying for that person. At this point, we recalled our soldiers fighting in Afrin, Syria. We prayed for them and were proud and excited while singing the Motherland Anthem. Flags with crescent and stars, which covered the Gulberenk stage, were so beautiful!

Gulberenk Lady Special Awards of this month also found its winners. With their skirts, dresses and headscarves, all the little girls were respectable and beautiful. We had serious difficulty while choosing the winner for our design competition, as our competitors participated with succesfully designed models of Masjid Al-Aqsa, Masjid-i Haram and the Kaaba. Gulberenk was great again this month with the attendence of sisters coming from Zonguldak, Biga, Konya, Nevsehir, Izmir and Adana. While Izmir continues to stage Gulberenk Educational Children’s Programs on the last Sunday of every month, Zonguldak continues to work with great effort to make programs on a regular basis each month.
