In February, Gulberenk performed on stage with the program titled It’s Missing, It’s OK. Together we recalled our incomplete responsibilities and checked solutions to fullfill them. Every job starting without Basmala lacks something. A baby with no mum lacks something. Winter without snow, a profession with no expert, a flock without a shepherd, a person with no family, a heart with no compassion, a loveless person, a look with no smile, a deed without knowledge, untidy room, unemployed person, someone with no prayer, and lastly, a mosque with no salah and the azan all miss something fundamental. Furthermore, a house without the recitation of the Qur’an, a head that does not do the sajdaa, a society no awareness of its country’s history, a country with no flag, intellect with no contemplation, Ramadan without fasting, and thus, a Muslim with no hijab and prayers all lack the needed essentials.
We, Muslims, have three primary mosques. Unfortunately, most of us do not know much about about these mosques, so we learned and counted them with joy!
Oonee: Masjid al-Haram!
Twoo: The Masjid al-Nabawi!
Threee: Masjid al-Aqsa!
Without our beloved Prophet, Islam, faith, tawhid, prayer, the azan, love, affection…etc all lack something important. That is why we said, “Rasullallah! Without you all is missing, with you all is OK!”.
Gulberenk Children, each of whom are very skillful, participated in the design competition and shared their magnificent works with us. We had hard time choosing the best one.
Within this month’s program Gulberenk Bees from Samsun, Izmir, Adana, Karaman, Konya, Ankara, Zonguldak and Kütahya had their own duties. When all those Bee Sisters took to the stage to salute the audience, we all got filled with enthusiasm! A surprising part of the program was the awarding of the Gulberenk Lady Special Awards.To become a Gulberenk lady, one has to cover her head, wear skirts or dresses, always wear socks, and keep her shoes clean. Nine little ladies dressed in this way were presented their gifts.
We all intended to complete our indeficiencies! And we went home to meet up next month, so we did not say goodbye.
