Dear Previous Members,
Hundreds of enthusiastic spectators were with us at our Gulberenk program, which was entitled, “March Comes in Like a Lion and Goes Out Like a Lamb”. Through the program we elaborated on the issue “Precaution”. We have learned that “precaution” means we do everything we can to protect us from any trouble. Those who do not take their measures at the right time, could face difficult situations.
You should have seen the man who had to feel the cold so badly because he did not cut enough wood before the winter, and chased the shovel and the spade the whole season. When he did not have wood to burn, he burned them and tried to warm up.
In the program, we had a guest, a Wooden piece from the old times of Abraham. It explained how Abraham had been thrown into the fire because he anounced his faith, but then the fire place had turned into a rose garden. It seems that the best way of precaution is to take refuge in Allah and trust Him.
When Keloglan did not tie the donkey his mother had bought him, he lost it. As he forgot what our dear Prophet Muhammad Mustafa sallallahu alayhi wa sallam once advised, “First tie your camel to a secure spot, then take a rest and trust Allah”. Thus Keloglan was left with a donkey.
Oh, and there was a boy who burned his hand on the heating stove. The stove said: “I burn wood and coal; but if you touch me, unfortunately, I will burn you to. Stay away from me, take your precautions”.
The teapot, was upset since the appearance of the electric water heaters no one was using it. It missed the linden-brewed, rose-boiled days. And thought, “People do not take precautions by eating healthy and drinking curative herbal teas, and what happens? They become sick”.
In the program, the Koran also took the floor and said, “The best precaution is to abide by my verses and try to live as the beloved Prophet Muhammad. Those who obey Allah’s commandments and prohibitions do not suffer. For example, those who do not lie, would be regarded reliable”.
The one that gets her/his umbrella will not get wet with in the rain, the who ties her/his shoelaces, would not get stuck, the one who covers his notebooks nicely, would prevent them from getting old quickly. You see, the take measures and so precautions is a good thing.
That is it! At Gulberenk there is excitement, emotion and various beauties again. After the Balikesir program, we went to Beysehir. We had two very nice tours. Now, we have to prepare for the April program and well take our precautions!
