Dear Precious Members,

This month, Gulberenk performed with the “Sukru Uncle Program”. We visited the greengrocer Sukru Uncle’s shop and accompanied him with enthusiasm along with his song, “Praise the blessings given to us, praise even boredom”. It is necessary to give thanks to the blessings Allah has given us, to be thankful to the troubles and to repent from the mistakes.

For example, one needs to be thankful when our mother has made a lovely cake and say, “Thank Goodness!”. If our tooth aches a little say “Alhamdullilah!”. If we delay the prayer, “Oh Allah forgive me!”. Yes yes our prayers! The prayer is a worship that the ones who are thankful never delay or give up. To merely say, “Alhamdulillah, Thank Allah” is not sufficient. To be grateful to our Creator is to abide by His commandments and prohibitions.

However, one who grants regular prayers, patiently fasts, does favour to his/ her mother and father, and who respects the living and inanimate beings would be among the real thankful peoples.

You will not believe your ears; but at Gulberenk this month we had a skeleton! It was a moving, quite dynamic skeleton. Besides, it was talking. Turns out its owner made the sacred regular prayer of Muslims (the mid-morning prayer). Those who did these prayers, were to show their gratefulness for the three hundred sixty bones in their bodies. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad Mustafa salllallahu alayhi wa sallam has declared this fact to us.

Again you will not believe; but Gulberenk also had an Apple Worm! It turns out that a worm can only exist in an apple that includes no harmful pesticide. Such apples are regarded as very healing.

Gulberenk Values Education Association gave five awards to our hard-working and productive friends. Yusuf Taha Kimirti, who is also a continuous audience of Gulberenk, has invented a car and a tea mixing machine. Rabia Kimirti and Zeynep Kimirti had prepared crowns, Hatice Kubra Kimirti prepared a board with a wood-burning technique, Hatice Zeynep Cilek prepared a pencilcase with various cut papers. All these children were handed their plaques. We congratulate our friends and wish them to create useful works throughout their lives.
Now, what do you say if we stop here and start the arrangements of the new program?

We hope your Feast of Sacrifice will be auspicious and blessed! Hope to meet you at the “Sabriye Hatun Program” in November! Goodbye!
