Dear Visitors,

In our Before Sleep Program tonight, we listened to the story of the Gulberenk Values Education Association logo! It turns out that exactly eleven years ago, the name “Gulberenk” came to mind of an older sister. This name is of Persian origin and means “From Rose to Color”. Gul (Rose), is our beloved Prophet Hz. Muhammad Mustafa wasallam; in other words, his best morality and color which represents his ummah of various races.

Later, that sister thought of buying all the rights of the name she loved very much and wanted to make a logo suitable for “Gulberenk”. For this, she first drew a red letter “G” on paper, representing the “Rose” in her heart. Then she added the green lines, which she thought of as the “rose’s leaf” and the letter “R”. She wanted to reflect the sky with the blue lines on the edges, and the yellow line on it to reflect the sun-like light and warmth. He wrote Gulberenk at the bottom and turned the letter “U” into a smiling face. This is how Gulberenk’s first logo emerged.

Later, she applied to a patent firm, registered the name and logo, and purchased all usage rights. The Gulberenk logo has developed and become more beautiful over time. You can see, many people have seen different versions of it so far. Six years ago, it took its place in the sign posted at the entrance of the Gulberenk Values Education Association. Years have passed and that sister wanted to save this logo from details and excesses. She thought that if it was a little more simple, it could be used much more comfortably everywhere, and it could easily be reduced and enlarged. She removed the lines and spirals around. She also erased the inscriptions underneath and an even more plain logo emerged. Then, she started to work with someone who understands this business very well and gave it the present simple and pleasant shape.

Here we are then… Tonight we listened to the story of the Gulberenk logo. We examined the previous versions and the current version. “Good luck!” we said. We realized that renewal and regeneration is a very good thing. Hoping to meet again on Friday night, we went to our bed with hopes and prayers!
