Dear Visitors;

In the Before Sleep Program tonight, we listened to the sad story of a child with the Sad, Timid and Frightened Spoon!

One day, the boy saw Sad Spoon on the kitchen counter. He was surprised to see him in this state and the following conversation took place between them:

-What happened to you sweet spoon? Why are you sad? Are they not using you for the intended purpose?

– No, they use it; but then they throw me to the dishwasher. As if washing in boiling water is not enough, I also have to inhale that harmful detergent. Because of these people, I get sick and my body cracks.

-Gosh! So how do you want to bathe?

-I want them to wash me only with natural soap or warm water in their hands and briefly; but if I tell them they will not hear. Moreover, they even have not heard the Prophet who once said, “If you want to be together with me in the afterlife, increase your sajdas. (Musnad)”. These people do not even perform their prayers properly. Thus, they would not even listen to me?

Then the Timid Spoon, sitting there, spoke:

– How did you touch my wound! People also use harmful detergents to remove food odors on me. Then I get poisoned. I am complaining about this situation, I am also very hurt; but I am afraid to talk to them in case they take me and throw me away. Why do not they just mix lemon and salt and caress my cheeks and rub my back! Then I would smell like sweet; but nothing is being said to people anymore! For example, when our beloved Prophet (Bukhari, Muslim) commanded Muslim women to cover themselves except for their hands and faces while going out, and men not to look at the haram (Bukhari, Muslim), people do not even care. How could they hear my wishes?

This time, the Frightened Spoon standing there started to speak:

– I am tired of people’s insensitivity! How indifferent they are to truth, goodness, goodwill and righteousness! They neither dress properly nor pray regularly! I run out of taste in life. I am so afraid! However, I would like what you want too; I would also wish them to caress and oil me with genuine olive oil; but I can not tell them that. Because they do not act even according to the knowledge they have. And by saying this, I am afraid that they will be subjected to a greater crime. They even neglect to live the sunnah. They drink the water while standing, wear their shoes without shaking, do not comb their hair, they brush their teeth with dangerous substances while the miswak is a better alternative. They do not even think about themselves, so how would they think of me!

The child thought on these conversations and he said:

“Honestly, I never thought that the Sad Spoon would be sorry for those who do not pray, the Timid Spoon would be afraid to tell the truth, and the Frightened Spoon afraid of telling the truth because they would be more plagued!” In the face of these speeches, the boy got so angry that he started praying:

“Oh Allah! Make us one of those who perform their prayers beautifully, pay attention to their veiling, and use their limbs for consent! Let us be who apologize out of embarrassment, and ask for your grace when they are wrong! Oh Allah! We do not have decent deeds that let us deserve your heaven and your graces, but please forgive us! Give us repentance and improvement! Because if we do not obey your orders and avoid your prohibitions, our faith will crack like those spoons! Just as harmful detergents spoil wooden spoons, harams wear us down, overwhelm and poison us! Protect us, Oh Allah! “. “Amen!”

After this story, we all went to our beds with the intention of protecting ourselves from harm. We then thought that every wooden spoon we see from now on will remind us of this story!
