Dear Visitors,

We thankfully organized the first Before Sleep Program of the week. We all listened to the following story: Once upon a time, there was a light pink play dough who was hanging out alone at times, and a yellow play dough who was quite the opposite. This yellow dough would always think the following, “I wonder what I should do today, how can I be useful!” and so wanted to beautify things around.

One day, the black, white, dark pink, blue and red joined the excitement of the yellow dough. Then together they started to think, while the light pink paste, on the other hand, thought that they were tiring themselves for nothing.

The idea of adding beauty to the world was thought to be very good for the other doughs and right after they decided, “Come on! Let us get started as soon as possible!” and they all became flowers together.

The yellow dough that started this work thought, “I have to sacrifice more” and did put aside five more pieces from itself and so formed tiny flowers.

Seeing what happened, the dark pink, lilac, red, white and purple dough also joined the scene with great enthusiasm. The yellow dough kept thinking about increasing the good deed, making sacrifices and finally found it! With the pieces removed from itself, the yellow dough created three chicks. In the meantime, other dough pieces were added to the scene in a devoted and generous way. When the yellow paste saw their enthusiasm, it revealed its whole existence and formed the sun in the sky with its last piece.

The light pink dough, which was quite comfortable and did not like to take any risks, prefered to live in solitude and monotony even if others invited. The light pink dough was watching what happened without disturbing its own position. Nevertheless, this stationary position influenced the light pink dough in a bad way, it did not notice that it started to dry. Nobody was able to benefit from the light pink dough, nor itself from the existence of others … In the meantime, other doughs created the landscape. Joy and gratitude were added to their happiness for being in this beauty. Moreover, because they were not static, they did not dry out and remained soft.

After we listen to this story, we decided not to be like light pink dough, on the contrary, we decided to be like the yellow dough and its friends. We intended to be merciful to our surroundings and create works that will benefit us and others both while living and after death! We chose to be like the play dough that adds joy and happines to its environment. With these feelings, we relaxed and prayed: “Our Almight Allah Please let us act in accordance with our purpose of creation, and to be a means of peace. Make it possible to pay the price for your consent and present the best of thankfulness!” Amen!
