As always, this evening at 9 o’clock it was high time for the Before Sleep Program.

We closed our eyes and dreamed of the “Gulberenk Village” together!

It then turned out that a dream is like a prayer. Our beloved Allah would manifest the name “Hayy!” and create what we have dreamed of for us. For this reason, we had to keep not only our states of actions but also our dreams away from ugliness and evil.

So we did the expected: We imagined that there were fragrants and colorful flowers at the entrance of our village. A sign would say, “Welcome to the Gulberenk Village” … A little further ahead would be the Gulberenk Mosque… We would go inside and perform a two-rak’ah of prayer. We then would leave our carriages and walk the rest of the road.

A little further ahead we would see a simple, beautiful, large village room where old wise men and brothers have come together and chit-chat. You know, every village has to have a mukhtar, thus we decide to choose one from among the candidates there.

Then we would come across the Gulberenk houses. We imagine wooden houses with colorful flowers and small balconies in front of their doors. There we see flowered curtains on the windows. The houses would be arranged in a circle. There we see a water well in the middle, and we imagine that we are pumping water from there with a pump. We also dream of a very tiny pool in which children could play and chill in, while ladies would be sitting and relaxing.

The back of each house would be a garden. Everyone has planted onions, mint, parsley, cucumber and tomato in their garden. This very dream in which we grow our vegetables and fruits with our own efforts makes us feel beautiful. The feeling of living a life in touch with the earth. We imagined we had a bakery there as well in which we always knead our dough while commemorating “Allah, Allah”. We shape and cook the bread beautifully. We spread the butter on the hot bread and would eat it by sipping from the samovar tea. Yummy.

Even setting up this beautiful dream made us feel very good. We realized that even the envision of such useful things has been healing. Just imagining goodness provide good feelings and energizes a person. Of course, it is necessary to give effort to make these dreams come true. If we strive, our beloved Allah will help us to realize. Thereby, we got ready to pick up our paints and notebooks to portray the Gulberenk Village in our dreams. Then, no no, we did not say farewell! But we fell asleep in peace and relieve.
