Our Before Sleep Program continues to meet with Gulberenk Children every weekday evening!

Today, we all listened to the “Song of Consent” together, then we talked about “consent”!

To be content means to accept something good or bad that happens to us with our hearts and our tongue, and be able to receive every situation with peace. Since we are in the world of tests and trials, we may experience things that we sometimes do not want and do not like. At such moments, we should not panic, but contemplate patiently. For example, when we put on our light colored clothes and go out, even if the rain suddenly starts, if it splashes on our clothes, we should not complain about it. On the contrary, we should strive to see goodness and wisdom in everything that comes from Allah.

Just as the broth strengthens the bones, accepting whatever Allah gives also strengthens our hearts and feelings. People who are willing to accept everything in life feel beautiful and happy because they can look at life with a smile! Those who fail to do so become ugly day by day, as they bother with everything and always make a face!

As Gulberenk Children, we should use the possibilities and endowments given by our Creator in balance and peace. We must be Muslims that are consent and have an opinion about things in life. Our toys, our mother’s food, what our father teach us, the face we see when we look at the mirror… We should be content and grateful with everything.

It is actually not easy to give consent to troubles. For instance, it would be difficult for person with a headache to say, “How beautiful is this ache, my dear head!”. But those who accept and appreciate what Allah has given them will love their pain and kiss their wounds!

These people are willing to live or die, and would say, “My Allah! Thank you! You are the giver, you are the receiver, and you are the one who create all these things! Whatever you give I accept, otherwise we have nothing?”. And one of your servants is, “His Holiness Azez Mahmoud Houdayi”!

Tonight, at the end of our program, we prayed to be one of the sweet honey servants who are aware of the blessings, who are thankful and who become beautiful with consent! Then we went to our beds to meet again tomorrow night!
