Dear Visitors;

The Before Sleep Program continues every weekday evening with love, peace, joy and excitement!

We started our program tonight by listening to the “Winter Song” and we said:

“When winter comes, the air becomes cold as ice,

The Poor’s feet, cheeks like roses,

Their homes are cold and their stoves are frozen.

If we watch out for the needy, erase their tears,

If we make an orphan happy, if we caress her head,

If we cook for the poor and the needy,

Then even the Zamhari winter would be like summer to us …”.

We learned that huge hails rained on some cities recently! People even hid their cars in parking garages to protect them! When our elders saw immoral, dishonest people who do not obey Allah’s orders, they say, “Alas! Stones will rain on our heads!”. Walnut-sized hails reminded us of this old saying. It turns out that events have apparent causes and inherent causes. For example, the inability of a person to digest something he eats is apparent; that is, it is a visible, and concrete cause. The fact that he is disturbed by the injustice done to him and could not digest it is the inherent. This one is an invisible, and abstract reason.

Our world can not digest the injustices people inflicted on them. Because some of them broke and rebelled against the verses that Allah set down, and others are persecuting and doing injustice.

When the evilness multiplies, the earth emits a kind of gas with earthquakes and shakes everywhere, relieving its stress with the sky full of people. When we witness such natural disasters we ask the following questions: “What mistakes am I doing that the earth and sky are disturbed by this? Do I perform my prayers well? Do I thank my elders in respect? Am I stingy or generous? Am I greedy?”. We have to deal with ourselves with such questions.  Our beloved Prophet Hz. Muhammad Mustafa sallallahu alayhi wa sallam once said: “Sadaqah repels the trouble”.  On the basis of this Hadith we have learned, as Gulberenk Children, we should increase our alms, remind people around us of the right and wrong things, increase the good deeds and decrease the disasters!

We heard that Gulberenk Values Education Association was providing wood and coal support to poor families when winter approached. At the end of our program, we intended to join this charity by collecting our pocket money until Monday and do what was needed while listening to the “Winter Song”! Then we took our ablution and performed our prayers beautifully. After we miswaked our teeth and combed our hair, we returned to our right side. We read the chapters of Ihlas, Falaq and Nas Surahs and fell asleep peacefully!
