Gulberenk was in Izmir for a conference and an Educational Children program with the invitation of Gulberenk Izmir Bees. Gulberenk organized a conference program in Menderes at Murat Reis Girls Boarding Qur’an Course for female hafiz (a person who has memorized the Qur’an) candidates and hafiz students. Gulberenk Values Education Association Founding President, Educator and Author Neslihan Nur Turk took over the program as speaker and soloist. With an in-depth focus on the question “Who Are We?”, Mrs. Turk explained ways of combatting nafs, levels of nafs, reasons of desolation and ways to avoid it. “The Book of Deeds” song was performed and taught to students. The program, which lasted about two hours, was watched by student with full interest.

In the Educational Children Program entitled “Numbered Eyeglasses Program” organized at Dr. Dursun Aksoy Culture Center we said, “It is all about seeing, and not seeing the truth”. Thus, Mrs. Turk described the difference between looking and seeing, then she portrayed blindedness and ungratefulness. Accordingly, each human has three eyes, two on the head and a third one located in the heart. It is not sufficient to visualize things just by looking with eyes, one needs to look through her/his eye of heart.

Gulberenk Educational Children’s Programs will now take the stage in İzmir on the last Sunday of every month at Dr. Dursun Aksoy Culture Center! The programs will be organized by Izmir Gülberenk Bees who have attended and monitored Istanbul Gülberenk Educational Children’s Programs for one year and have been trained for this mission.

We would like to thank the authorities of the Murat Reis Girls Boarding Qur’an Course, Mrs. Betul Sengul and all other Gülberenk İzmir Bees. We hope to meet up again in upcoming good deeds.
