Dear Visitors,

Tonight, we were together at 21:00 in Before Sleep Program. We touched upon the most beautiful issues. One of them was this: If we were too obsessed with a myriad things, that and this, if we were to turn our heads on for ten jobs at the same time, we could burn our heads! For this reason, we had to try to think and do each of our works in turn.

Anyway, it is not possible to proceed just by thinking. When a person is involved in action, she/he will become aware of the difficulties, and will start to investigate and gain experience.

You remember, we were looking for a village for relief, we wanted to realize our dreams… We searched, searched, went and saw. It turned out that those things were not easy as we thought. For this reason, we started to think again and look for different ways. We prayed to our dear Allah for finding “the best, cleanest, most beautiful place where we can afford it”.

Because one had to cut his/her cloth according to her/his means. Moreover, the work of those who want to live in a proper and honest way in this world has always been getting more difficult for some reason. Is not that very strange in your opinion? Still, Gulberenk Children try to walk on the right way.

We should fill our water according to our bucket, if we want to fill a lot of water, we should enlarge our bucket. If we want to paint a lot, we should have more paints. If we wanted to have a village, we had to search more and save more money. We should cut our cloth according to our means, if we want to have the cloth to fit us, we should add more cloth. As you can see, we had to intend so that we were able to do it, and we had to strive and be patient for what we intended.

In fact, fulfilling our wishes, depends on Allah’s saying “Be!”. It was not difficult for Allah. Allah is the owner of all the reservoirs. We should continue to wish. When we heard this, we thought… Exactly! What have we wished so far, what have we wanted to own? Then everyone conveyed their wishes in the form of a recording. We listened together. The intention and imagination of each of them was very precious and peculiar. Some wanted to have a garden where he/she would have cats, grow roses and play comfortably, while some wanted to be a hafez and go to Umrah again … Some wanted to feed the hungry, others wanted houses that did not fall apart.

Meanwhile, we realized that we may have wishes that do not fit our culture and values. We pardoned each other about our wrong demands. We supported the proper and good wishes by saying “Amen”. Thus, we became both conscious and hoped a lot. We have realized that the demands of the Gulberenk Children, like their intentions and dreams, must also comply with Allah’s orders.

We made the closing by listening to the song “Opportunities Are In Hand Like Soap”. No no, we did not say goodbye! With the hope and joy of being able to be together by heart and soul again in another Before Sleep Program tomorrow, we took our ablutions and fell asleep.
