DEAR FRIENDS!

Gülberenk Values Education Association invites all the children to think, work and produce! You only have two months to do this. During this time, you will collect waste materials and produce original works from each other.
You can use all kinds of materials from olive beans to peanut shells, from fabrics to buttons, from bottle caps to ropes. What is important is that the work that will emerge is designed and produced by you.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE COMPETITION?

All children from Turkey and around the world in the age range 7- 12 can participate in this contest.
CAN YOU PARTICIPATE IN THE COMPETITION WITH MORE THAN ONE DESIGN?
You can participate in the competition with only one piece. This work should have never been presented to any competition and must be prepared merely for this competition.

WHILE PREPARING YOUR WORKS:

1- Start collecting the materials.

2- Think about what you really want to design.

3- Design so draw your work on paper first.

4- If necessary, get ideas from your friends, parents and/ or from teachers.

5- Do not use any materials other than glue and varnish except the residual materials in your works.

6- Materials you will use like cardboard, paper and so should be waste ( ex. shirt cardboard, biscuit box etc.)

7- Start working at the last stage.

8- Take at least 3 pictures during your work.

HOW TO GET YOUR WORK TO US?

The works will be brought together with three colored photographs taken during the work in progress and will be delivered to the authorities in Gulberenk exhibition area.

AWARDS!

All the children participating in the competition will be presented with a certificate of appreciation and evaluated by the jury.

The Champion:

A packed gift bag, a productive children’s plaque and 500 Turkish Liras.

The Second Winner:

A packed gift bag, a productive children’s plaque and 300 Turkish Liras.

The Third Winner:

A packed gift bag, a productive children’s plaque and 150 Turkish Liras.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO BE RANKED AS A WINNER?

– First of all you must register and take part in the competition.

– The more the variety of material you use in your work, the more you will be close to win.

– How clean and smooth your work is,

– How useful the resulting work is,

All these tips will make it easier for you to be ranked.

Our friends who decide to participate in this competition must register first! Please call our Organization Officer to register your name, surname, age, telephone number and the city / country where you live.

Our friends who do not register until the last minutes of Sunday, March 30, 2014 will not be accepted to the exhibition and the competition.
