Our Precious Members,

Gulberenk Educational Children’s Programs continue with all its beauty! In our February program staged with the theme “Cushion and Pillow” we all said, “Yes to resting! No to laziness!”.

The almighty Allah, created the night for us to rest. And people should be working during the daytime. Especially us! We have to work harder than anyone to fill our days with charity and good deeds. We should not let our hands, feet, eyes, ears, tongue, brain and heart get used to laziness, we should try our best to do good in accordance with the consent of creator Allah. The ones who get exhausted by working hard deserve rest.

A Muslim would rest by skipping from one job to another. For example, when one has studied too much and his/her mind is very tired to continue, one can skip to something else like dusting the furniture in the room. When one gets exhausted by walking a lot, one can rest by sitting and reading a book. And if one is tired reading a book, he/she can rest by looking at the sky and feel thankful to Allah.
Resting, in reality, means taking a break to regain strenght, relieving fatigue, breating and relaxing.

While the night sleep rests the body, to listen to the azan and praying five times a day rests one’s soul and heart. One may also rest when he/she spends time with her/his loved ones. That is why, for those who love the Allah very much, the prayer is one of the most beautiful way of resting.

Laziness thus means the dislike to work and to make effort; to escape from sacrifice. A Muslim should not be lazy, he/she should work gratefully and in a motivating way for her/his present world and the afterlife. Because one would be given things only when she/he works for it.

It is acceptable and nice to rest as a need, while being lazy is outrageous and wrong.
We have all decided to be hardworking, to get tired while doing good deeds and rest when we deserve. We both listened to the talk and rested at the Gulberenk.

We are counting days with great curiosity and excitement for the new program! In the meantime, we do not merely stand idle and do nothing, we experience the “Monday Happiness”, and work hard to deserve a place in heaven! Monday Joy is alive g every Monday, we are working with all our strength to become worthy of heaven!
