Dear Precious Members,

The March program of Güuberenk was quite a joy. In this Gulberenk program entitled “If It Eats Up Keep it Please” we said ‘if it eats from our faith, sincerity, and endowment please keep it’.

We were not content with just saying this. During the program we contemplated for a long time. We realized that we had to get rid of all of the elements that were harmful to our health, caused us to waste our time, and tried to damage our morality in a literal way.

Our present day hijab fashion and social media are eating from our minds and intellect, while unhealthy foods are eating from our health. However, Gulberenk children never eat unhealthy food that eats from their health.

A Gulberenk child would not accept a fashion sense damaging the hijab and morality. A Gulberenk child would not waste her/his time playing games on a tablet or computer while she/he could do useful things.

Thereupon, we sang a beautiful song so that all of this could easily be kept in our minds. We said in the song:
If it is against our present world and afterlife, if it is contrary to the Qur’anic verses and the sunnah, if it is haram, if it is suspicious, keep it away! Keep it to yourself! We will not have it! If it is eating from ours tranquility, serenity, limits, please keep it! If it is eating from our prayers, belief and wisdom, please keep it!

İzmir Gulberenk successfully completed another program, we went to our homes with the prayers of meeting in the “At Your Service Program!”.
