Dear Distinguished Members,

In July, Gulberenk took the stage with the program titled “Watermelon For The Hardworking”. During the program we learned that Allah, the Supreme, does not grant the lazy ones with victory and/or success, instead He rewards the ones who work hard and put much effort to a goal.

Thereby, on the stage there were two symbolic field. In the hardworking farmer’s farm, the watermelons had grown beautifully. However, the lazy farmer had watermelons which were as small as buns. If a field is not irrigated during the daybreaks, the wild grass not cleaned, and no motivation takes place filled with love, thankfulness and contemplation, one should not expect any success. While growing a watermelon, while studying or worshipping, it is necessary to work continuously and show regular goodwill and patience.

If a person wants to be a pilot, she/he should be educated in a proper way. If one wants to become a doctor, she/he has to be trained in a medical institution. The work of those who want to be a master of ceramics expects another way, and the work of those who want to become teachers had better receive training accordingly. Hereby, we have understood that appropriate effort is needed for specific goals.

Above all we believe, each of us has the most important duty which is trying to live according to the commands and prohibitions of Allah, the supreme. The only way to do this is to obey the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad Mustafa Sallah alayhi and wa sallam.

All our work in the world is actually a preparation for the afterlife. Those who want to g oto the heaven should be engaged in auspicious, beneficial and good deeds, and should not separate themselves from worshipping. A person that does not work hard and puts effort on something probably would be forgotten because such a person would not leave behind even a tiny piece of charity.

During the program each of the songs, quests and plays reinforced our enthusiasm for being hardworking human beings. Do not forget! Gulberenk continues to perform free of charge on the first Saturday – Sunday of each month in Istanbul and the last Sunday of each month in Izmir, Zonguldak and Adana. Gulberenk Bees are waiting to be rewarded only by Allah. On the other hand, what can we expect of Him while Allah has already given us countless blessings? We expect his consent and forgiveness for sure!
