Gulberenk left behind another full program. With the theme of “Hot Pot” we said, “Your share is so far as the size of your cup” and we learned that whatever we get or deserve comes to us as much as the size of our cups. Thus, when one stands on the side of the sea, one can get only seawater as much as his/her own cup. Though we might have a huge pot of lamb stew, we can only have so far as the size of our plate.

If our cup is clean and neat, whatever it contains would not be wasted. Nevertheless, if our cup is dirty and has a hole, we would be losing while we assume it will be vice versa. While the pot, the jug and glass are different variants of containers (wares), our heart, brain and stomach can be regarded as containers too. That is, one should fill his/her heart with good intentions and love; our brains had better be filled with beneficial knowledge and thoughts, and the stomach should be filled with healthy and adequate nutrients.

If one enlarges her/his cup’s size he/she will enlarge her/his share too. And if one wants to achieve this, she/he should contemplate a lot, be very thankful, commemorate a lot and be very charitable. People who achieve this might even start to fill others’ cups after theirs and so expand the share of their cup. In short, Allah will reward the one who works hard.

This month we hosted educatos from Balikesir, Konya, Karaman, Kocaeli and Izmir through our programs. The design contest winners received their awards with joy!
While leaving in the hope to meet again next month, we felt that our heart and brain vessels were expanding. We even formed our hands like a cup, opened them and prayed. We said “Amen” after we felt that this sacred cup was filled with the mercy of Allah.
