Dear Precious Members,

Gulberenk Educational Children’s Programs continue with all enthusiasm. In the month of April, we took to the stage with the theme “Rose Fragrance” and we said, “No to Obliviousness and Yes to The Sunnah!”.

We learned that the sunnah is everything what the Prophet Muhammad Mustafa sallallâhu alayhi wasallam said and approved. While on the other hand, obliviousness, is a form of negligence towards the importance of our worldly lives and afterlife, thus, it is not living the according to the sunnah. Our beloved Prophet is the best example for us. For this reason, one should live the sunnah and escape from negligence.

Smiling, giving a gift, starting everything with Bismillah, listening to the Azan, reading the Qur’an, washing hands before and after eating, sitting during eating, eating with the right hand, and then feeling thankful. All of these are sunnah. To respect people, animals and plants that praise Allah regularly, to contemplate, to be patient are all sunnah again.

While greeting is sunnah, not caring is negligence. Disregarding is negligence, but working hard is sunnah. Hopelessness is again in reality negligence, but praying to Allah is sunnah. Not praying is obliviousness, while praying with the worshipers is sunnah. Gluttony is obliviousness, eating less is sunnah. Being arrogant is again obliviousness, modesty is sunnah. Extravagance is negligence, while on the other hand, it is sunnah to offer what you have. To be messy likewise is carelessness, but a Muslim should be clean which is sunnah. Thus, we learned how beautiful the sunnah was, and we screamed together, “Come on! Let us live in the most perfect way, within the framework of Qur’an’s sunnah!”. We had trainers from Samsun, Karaman, Zonguldak, Bartin, Biga, Izmir, Adana, Konya, Bafra and Kocaeli. We were very happy to see their effort. We saluted eachother as a way of practicing sunnah! Lastly, we went to our homes hoping to meet again in May! We did not just leave, as we would be back soon!
