Dear Guests,

In December, Gulberenk performed its Winter Gloves Program on stage. In the program, we all said,” Everything is beautiful in its proper time and place!”. Apparently, there are many sorts of gloves with different functions. Winter gloves, dishwashing gloves, boxing gloves, motor-biker gloves, baby gloves, worker gloves, cook gloves, doctor gloves, henna gloves …etc. Each of them have a separate function and area of usage, so all are functional only when used in proper place and time. Not just gloves, lying down, waking up, eating, chit-chatting or staying silent … “Everything is beautiful in its proper time and place!”. Prayers, fasting, zakat (almsgiving), all our good deeds had better be done on the right time and place. For instance, when the Dhuhr azan is called one can not pray the Isha. All prayer time should be done at its own specific time. To hand a delicious cake to a homeless child on the street in a winter cold day does not really seem as a supportive behaviour. What is, in fact, right at first hand is to warm him/her up and afterwards serve him the delicious cake.

Gulberenk Children, who have been very much aware of being thankful and always on time, were very sweet again on the program! Furthermore, they all surprised and impressed us with their answers to the questions in our “It’s Question Time” part. In this part we asked then, “There is time for everything! What is the time to remember our Beloved Prophet Muhammad Mustafa sallallahu alayhi wassallam?”. And all our Gulberenk kids replied, “Alwaaaays!” full with enthusiasm and excitement. At that moment our heart moved with joy.

Besides our seventy students coming from Yalova, educators from Yalova, Adana, Bahce, Ankara, Biga, Izmir and Zonguldak along with Gulbebek Ahmet Ertugrul and Gulberenk were all together colourful again this month.
Gulberenk Izmir team left behind its fourth program. Gulberenk Educational Children’s Programs, which take the stage on each month’s first Saturday in İstanbul, continue to be performed on the last Sunday of every month in İzmir!

In the end, we promised to meet again in January. No, no, we didn’t just leave, we merely left for our homes to come back soon!
