Our Precious Members,

Gulberenk Educational Children’s Programs continue with all its beauty! Our December program title was “Knitted Vest”. And the subject under this heading has been “Repetitive Effort”. Thus we learned that doing something “once” does not make it happen right away. One should take the pains, so make some effort to realize an aim. For instance, if one plans to reach somewhere, one step would not help. One can reach her/his destination with recurring steps without getting tired.

İs this all? Of course no! For example, when our mothers wants to cook a delicious tarhana soup (soup made of dried foodstuff) she must be stirring constantly, otherwise the soup’s ingredients will become lumpy. To drive a nail one should bang more than once. One , two, three, four … with recurring bangs the nail will go into the wall. How can one fill a glass with one drop of water? We need more and more drops to fill a glass, with many drops you can even fill a huge pot.

If our father goes to work, and one day says, “Well, I am not going to work anymore!”, does it make sense? How can he then earn a living? Moreover, what will happen if one day our mothers say, “I am not going to clean this house anymore!”, what will happen? The house will be filled with dust.you can not pass a class by working merely for one day, you can not swallow your bite with just one chew. You can not knit a vest with just one knot. If you want to be beneficial you should make effort several times.

Moreover, the Lord of the Supreme, Allah, wants us to worship Him with little steps but recurring ones. A “one day” prayer is not enough, as long as we live we need top ray every day, as well as five times a day. Thus to finish our responsibilities on earth and deserve heaven it is necessary to make effort that repeats itself everyday.

Our educators coming from Balikesir, Nevsehir, Canakkale, Rize and Izmir participated in Gulberenk’s “in-service trainings” and have become one of the best examples of repetitive effort. In Gulberenk, effort, joy, knowledge and manners have been still vivacious!
Our design competition winner won the grand prize with the Kaaba model!
Hope to see you again in January. We all returned to our homes, but did not separate! 
