Dear Guests,

In November, Gulberenk took to the stage with the “Numbered Eyeglasses Program”. On the program we all said “See Who Has Sight!”, and we recalled the beauty of eyes, the beauty of looking at something and how one think in a beautiful way. Thus, we all realized that having beautiful eyes is not enough, it is in fact fundamental and beneficial to make use of those eyes that are given to us as gift by Allah. One should use her/his eyes by seeing the beauty of creation and truth. When one’s eye sight is weak one needs to get numbered eyeglasses. Some of us are near-sighted while some are far-sighted. Some have flaws in terms of their eye sights and some have problems with the sight of their heart, that is, some are unable to see a spiritual reality presented to us by Allah. It is not the same thing to look at something and/or see through something. A lot of people can not see even if they are looking. And some do see through but do not value what they see, do not feel thankful and constantly complain. These we may call “ungrateful”. The real way of seeing according to us is seeing through the heart. There are some who are unable to see, namely disabled so blind persons, but they somehow are able to see the blessings of creation and are thankful.

To us, a human has two eyes on the head and is inhabited by the heart. With our eyes we see whatever surrounds us, but with our eye in the heart we see through things. When one closes her/his eyes, one starts to see through her/his heart. And when we do this we would see happiness, our loved ones, sadness, hopes and dreams all in a different way. Sometimes one should close her/his eyes, start contemplating and feel Allah. Contemplation connects us to Allah and we get closer to the Creator. Sometimes it is impossible to understand some people, those ones ignore what they do not see. Therefore, they reject the existence of Allah. Nevertheless, we are unable to see the air too, or intellect, feelings and intentions? Thus, are not then these people who reject such an existence a bit weird? For those we had better pity, pray and hope for their recovery. When look at a shawl with the eyes we see its color and patterns, but when we look through it with the eye in heart we would see “endeavour”. Likewise when one looks at a carrot she/he will see its colour and form, but when one looks at it with the eye in the heart one will see the glory of Allah.

This month Gulberenk was great with sisters coming from Konya, Nevsehir, Urgup, Izmir, Ankara, Zonguldak, Biga and Gonen! In Ankara our little Arda was the winner of the design competition with his ship model! Gulberenk children make good use of their eyes and th eye of their hearts. Lastly, we all thanked Allah for giving us healthy eyes.
