Dear Precious Members,
Gulberenk Educational Children’s Program prepared by Gulberenk Values Education Association elaborated on a different subject this month entitled “One’s Best Bib and Tucker”. Throughout the program we all contemplated the message, “Wear what suits you, make your jewellery go with you, but never let your best bib and tucker compete with others, let your good deeds compete instead”. Thereby, we learned that our Gulberenk children never rack their minds with unimportant issues. It appears that they do not tire their minds with empty thoughts and empty matters. Meaningless matters and unnecessary cases are not among the subject of interest. These children are careful not to fall into the trap of jealousy and fitna. For them, the World flows towards the afterlife, and so life flows towards death. For this reason, Gulberenk children live in accordance with the orders of Allah and His Messenger. They would obey the orders that would lead them to Heaven and peace, while they would distance themselves from sins like extravagance. The most precious dress to be worn in this world is the “piety dress”, and the most beautiful crown to wear is the “hafiz crown”. One had better not rack her/his mind on trivial worldly matters about the past or future. The best path a Muslim should take is to live the moment and be grateful. Some people are dreaming a lot, that is, they are busier with dreaming than activism. This is not a sensible way of living at all. Imagine, yes, but one should not condemn her/himself to merely dreaming. In this World one can put on her/his best bib and tucker, but the thing we all will put on in the end is the gravecloth. What is the gravecloth? Well, it is the very last thing we will wear while waiting our turn in the grave. Well, at our Gulberenk program we contemplated on all these points, and also had fun. We ended up promising eachother to meet again in new programs. Our albums with various songs have now entered our daily lives, our trainings continue and Gulberenk proceeds to perform in the cities.
