Dear Precious Members,

The Gulberenk Educational Children’s Program was realized with the partnership of Gulberenk Values Education Association and Sehbal Culture and Art Center in Simav. And the topic of this program was “Waste”. We learned that we should not waste time, money, food, papers, electricity and health during the program which was watched by hundreds of excited children.

It was great to listen to the story of Joussef through the figure Nasreddin Hodja. Karagoz’s naughtiness added a different color to the program; but fortunately Karagoz realized that he should not spend all his time for fun, and so thankfully the neighborhood was saved from a great headache.

At the end of the program, we interviewed Ikbal, a spectator student, who said that she understood the importance of not wasting thanks to the program.

We left Simav with a sweet excitement and the decision to make new programs here again.
