Dear Visitors,

Educational Children Programs, a service of Gulberenk Values Education Association, continue on the internet with great enthusiasm! This month, under the title of Tekno Into Roboto, we have committed to being balanced! “Use technology; but do not be a robot! ” we said!

As it turns out, our Creator has created the night and day, trees, seas, plains, stars; After all, he created everything in the universe in a magnificent order. He put technology and the internet at the disposal of people. Devices such as phones, tablets and computers are great blessings as long as we have control; but we would try to use them without wasting our time, attention and values.

The things we are addicted to harm our bodies. Bread; when eaten to a certain extent, it causes healing, and when consumed greedily, it causes obesity. Too much sleep would make us drowsy, too much technology would spoil our nature. That is, being measured by using our will in every issue was one of our most important duties. One should live without interrupting his deeds and practices and forgetting that his or her days are numbered. He or she has to work for the world as if she/he would never die, and for the hereafter as if she/he would die tomorrow. He should always be diligent in eating, resting, having fun, reading and speaking.

Our Almighty stated the following in the Quran: “The Rahman taught the Qur’an. He created man, taught him to speak. Sun and Moon act with one calculation. Stars and plants are always prostrate. With this harmony, He raised the sky and put this scale so that you will not go beyond the measure by taking lessons. (Surah ar-Rahman / 1-5)”.

A Muslim should benefit from all the blessings given to her/him in a balanced way and she/he should not go to extremes in any respect. She/He should never abandon prayers by diving into the Internet, and should not fall into the situation of those who become robotic while thinking that she/he is using technology. Our beloved Prophet Hz. Muhammad Mustafa sallallahu said, “Do not go to extremes, take the middle way and rejoice for the reward you will receive for the righteous deeds. (Bukhari, Iman, 29)”.

All the bounties that are used beyond measure have turned into burdens. For example, some people became ill due to their excessive detergent use, as a result of their deliberate diligence under the name of cleaning. Over-watered flowers rot. Babies who drank more milk than they needed would vomit. Imbalance leads to restlessness; Being prudent, on the other hand, was a means of material and spiritual health. From now on, we have decided to use technology with a balance for auspicious purposes, within the limits set by our Allah, without falling into extremes and divorce, to be permissible in all our works!

We invite everyone who wants to benefit from our programs to be an official member of Gulberenk Values Education Association. For detailed information and registration, you can call 0542 808 82 58!
