Dear Precious Members,
In February, Gülberenk took to the stage with Uncle Riza. He talked about the importance of being “thankfulness and reconciliation” to an enthusiastic audience that watched the program with great interest.
In the conversation of Uncle Riza and Peppered Cory there was a touch on being at peace with contentment. The fancy Guppy Fish and the Seagull were also happy. In the huge sea, only the Octopus was upset thinking that it looked ugly and scary. He was very sad and unhappy because he could not realize his superior qualities. Fortunately he finally realized the truth and smiled. What was that reality? That is, Allah has given different qualities to everyone. Each being is beautiful and special. Every beauty has a challenge, every difficulty has a beauty. For this reason, instead of looking at others and compare yourself and envy, look at the mirror and be very grateful.
One should be grateful from what is given, joy, sorrow, hunger, toughness, the Being, even absence, examination, difficulties, rain, mud, wind, snow, from cold to heat, our houses, our rooms, our mothers and our fathers, our eyes, our noses… etc. Because if we are grateful and thankful, both our hearts and our visions will get beautiful. The ones with beautiful hearts become closer to Allah. If we support and help our elders and touch their hearts, lighten their burdens, this is something Allah the Supreme will love a lot.
It is not just to be content with what we have but also with what do not own. For example, we could not go to Batman (a province in Turkey) because of the weather conditions and it had been canceled, but we did not get upset. We said, “There should be something else, a positive message maybe”, thus we moved on with our other works. That way of looking was what we needed, we got filled with peace. If we did the vice versa and constantly asked “Why could not we make it to Batman? Why?”, we would get depressed and feel troubled for no reason.
On this occasion, we send greetings to our sisters and brothers in Batman, we hope that their preparation for the organization would be accepted by Allah and we will meet next year.
Finally, all children in the age group of 7- 12 are invited to Gulberenk “waste recycling evaluation competition”. We wish to see your names among our friends who already registered!
