Dear Precious Members!

Gulberenk Values Education Association is continuing with a great enthusiasm for Educational Children’s Programs in cooperation with Golden Child Magazine. The subject of the Istanbul program in April was entitled “I am wise because I do my prayers!”.

While the program was participated with a full interest by hundreds of children, we were delighted too see children from Tekirdag Corlu who came as spectators. To know is to live. In order to say that you know something, you have to put that information into practice while living. Nothing is known only by hearing or reading.

In this program the presenter introduced us to the eyes of the head and the eyes of the hear. Then she pointed her handmade vest, and by showing the the vest she asked, “Now you see this vest, look to it with the eyes on your head, what do you see?”. Thereby, we all said, “We see the vest!”. Then the asked us, “Now look at this vest with your heart eyes, what do you see now?”. Some of our friends than said, “We see hard work, we see effort”. This response made the presenter very happy.

Gulberenk Children, do not watch cartoons for hours, they do beautiful things to make others watch them. Children of Gulberenk are patient and are aware of being grateful with what they have. It is very important to know that you know something and also know what you do not know. Not knowing what you know and not know should be a terrible condition.

Educators from Samsun, Balikesir and Corum came to the program to conduct their observations. Gulberenk continues to be a school of service and assistance. We never wanted it to end; but another program ended again. We went to our homes with the excitement of meeting in our May programs. We never say goodbye, just leave to be back soon.
