Dear Precious Members!
Gulberenk Educational Children’s Programs, which is a joint project of Gulberenk Values Education Association and Golden Child Magazine, continues with great enthusiasm!
In March we all said, “I am brave because I do my prayers!”. Both programs were very enjoyful and educational, with hundreds of viewers participating.
Courage means not being afraid, instead being careful and cautious. Brave people are not afraid of poverty and give alms. They are not afraid of being hungry, and they share their food. They are not afraid to fail, instead they push their effort further. They are not afraid to fix a mistake, they can warn their friends when needed. They are not afraid to start a job and they work hard. Brave people, pray regularly five times a day despite all the difficulties, and this way they get closer to Allah. And as a result, with Allah’s help would be much more courageous.
A soldier brother told us how his grandfather fought without fear and how he gave his life for his homeland in the Dardanelles.
Thereby, he said, “I want to be as brave as my grandfather. For this reason, I do not delay my prayers”. The rooster seemed to have mixed up a little bit what real bravery and boldness was. He had scrowed o much that at the end they slaughtered him and cooked him into a dish.
What is more, the chain told us that we need to be courageous, smart and brave. Courage is not just to jump into everything, instead, one has to educate her/himself greatly and try to be beneficial, which can be viewed as real bravery. Lovers would be brave. Believers would be brave! As you see, Gulberenk was full with enriching topics again.
The winners of the weaving design competition were given their prizes. With hopes to be together again in a new program we left for our homes. We did not say goodbye, because Gulberenk children love each other and miss eachother. Lovers are never separated.
Here we should thank Mrs. Ayse Melek Gulmez for her lovely gift! Because, we got really happy with her precious work of art that was depicting Gulberenk programs.
