Dear Precious Members,

After its Kastamonu and Ankara programs, Gulberenk took to the stage again in Istanbul. We thought about various beauties and challenges of winter with the program entitled “Reminders of the Winter Season”.

Snow, skiing, playing snowball, chestnut, coming home after the freezing cold weather outside. These are the beauties of the season. While the freezing cold, stormy wind, falling on the snow or ice, getting stuck on the road because of snow are all the difficulties. Thanks to the beauties, we become accustomed to increasing our gratitude. While, the challenges of the Winter Season will give us the virtues of helping, sharing, solidarity, etc. 

The Supreme Allah has created vitamins and fruit that are full of vitamins to make us healthy and strong. Orange, tangerine, grapefruit, apple, quince, pomegranate, carrot, radish, cabbage, cauliflower, are among some of the fruits and vegetables that are unique to Winter. Another reality to be realize is then, that not everyone’s house is warm in the winter. Some of our brothers and sisters are very poor and are always cold. Therefore, they can not love the winter. There are even people whose houses do not have a stove. Some even do not have a house.

We need to find them and work hard to help. As our dear Prophet Muhammad Mustafa sallallahu aleyhi wa sallam said, “Winter is the spring of the Ummah”.
That is, it is easy to fast in winter because days are short, it is easy to worship during the nights as the nights are long.

Let us add some comments of the little participants:

Nehir Diri: “I am five years old. The program was beautiful. I really liked everyone on the stage. I want to come with my friends again”.

Ibrahim Bozoklu is ten years old, through the program he was mostly affected by the poor child and said he wanted to come again. These are all the children of Gulberenk! They want to share those moments with their friends too when they see a beauty. And having found the sweet hours, they want to come again and again.

There is a winter flower called “Snowdrop”, which pulls its head out of the frosty snow, as if telling the children: “Oh you kids, do not give up when facing any challenges! Look at me, and live the winter as it is spring!”. All of us returned to our homes more strongly and hopefully after this program. We were already planning to be in Nevsehir next week to realize the Musical Values Education Course and a Conference. Now, we have decided once again to make preparations for the new program as well as our Anatolian tours with even greater enthusiasm! Thus, let us stop here, because both our responsibilities and long roads are waiting for us. Goodbyeeee!
